Fake fedex tracking #
All, i order 4 dozen golf balls. Seller gives me a tracking # that says it is being shipped to my city. The tracking # was to a different person, and zip code(45229) in my city and it apparently weighed 72lbs, golf balls maybe weighed 7lbs, my zip code is 45243.   Ebay customer service has now closed the case 2x and not willing to help. They keep saying the packace was successfuly delivered to my home, when it clearly wasnt. They have asked me to contact fedex for a lost item, but the issue is the seller provided a tracking # that never had my name or address on it, i called fedex to confirm this, they obviously wont share where this fedex package went. Not sure what to do next. The seller has 0% positive feedback and only 2 ratings, was an oversight on my part. I have over 500 positive ratings, im really at a loss here.

When your first item not received dispute was denied, had you posted the FedEx screen shot and one of your order details to the appeal showing the different zip code from yours, you would have won the appeal. eBay not being the sender or recipient can only access the tracking for delivered scans, they do not see zip codes or other information.
You will have to go to a local UPS-FedEx store. You need to bring a copy of your order details page which shows your address and the tracking number with you. If you bought using a phone or tablet, you can bring that to show the clerk the order details.
You want to ask the clerk to check the label address against yours, and also to check the Package type/size weight info to see if was is appropriate for what you should have received. Since the info does not match up, you ask the clerk to write a note on Company stationary saying in general that the shipping label's address was not yours, and that the package type/size/weight was not right for what you should have received. Do not ask for specific address or package info, they cannot give it out. Have the clerk sign and date the note.
Once you have the note, you can appeal the dispute ruling, or contact ebay through their Facebook or Twitter social media pages. (links below) You can write out what happened and what you found out, and add a CLEAR photo or a scan of the note to the message. When you go the social media site, you will need to have the seller's username and the ebay item number. At the end of your message give them your real and ebay username. Those reps can authorize a refund and usually reply within a day or so.

In the future I strongly suggest that you check the feedback profile pages of each seller you intend to buy from, before bidding on or buying their items.
