Fake Batteries
I've bought three sets of rechargeable batteries off of ebay, two recently. They were both labeled incorrectly. One, the batteries are very light. Labeled and sold as 3800mah but take an hour to charge from dead, the correctly labeled 3300mah batteries take a day and last a long time. The second set are labeled 2800mah, are heavier, but last no longer than the 3800mah labeled batteries. Massive fraud going on.

·2 years agoAnd every one of those three sets of batteries was covered by eBay's Money Back Guarantee. If the two recent purchases were delivered less than 30 days ago, go to the item in your purchase history and click Return. Select that the item was not as described to open a case. Ask eBay to step in three days later. They'll send you a return label, and once the seller has the return you'll be refunded.
I'm a bit gobsmacked that you've been on eBay for 23 years and aren't aware of its Money Back Guarantee. Here's a link where you can read all about it:

OP2 years agoI did not use the batteries enough to see them drain before the 30 days was up. Then to charge them more than once while not observing them to realize they charged to quickly. But then, that's what you get when you trust ebay sellers. I am surprised this kind of scam is allowed on ebay. The seller was no longer a seller by the time I realized these were crap. No problem, I will buy my batteries from amazon as I did my first 16. The amazon basics 2000 mAh batteries are excellent. Just bought 48 more of them.

·2 years agoYou do realize that a lot of those same sellers that sell knock off junk on here also sell them on Amazon.

·2 years agoAmazon is full of scams involving counterfeit merchandise too.
You have to know how to fend for yourself, with these sellers your best defense is the Money Back Guarantee but you have to know how to use it first, and then you have to actually put it to use.
I'm also pretty sure they won't help you on Amazon if you let 30 days go by first...

·2 years agoYou need to find the item under purchases, then click return this item and choose not as described. You only have 30 days from delivery to do that. It that has passed and you paid by credit card, contact your card company. If not, contact the payment service you used.
