·4 months agoDid anyone else happen to notice all the sellers that only have ***** for their ID in their recent feedback left history? Does that mean that seller is no longer there? I found it interesting there were a high number of them.
15 transactions with refunds (that I know from reading the comments) out of 100.
8 transactions less than positive left for sellers, with 6 of those being negative.
I find it a bit unusual that a buyer would have that much trouble with that many sellers in such a short amount of time. We are talking less than 6 months here. Maybe a run of bad luck? Maybe not. But certainly worth avoiding. I normally don't dig that much, because I try not to focus on things like that, but I think the OP not getting their negative to stick is the least of their issues.
It makes me question how many others gave refunds that weren't mentioned, and I suspect there is a high probability of this. I also know, sellers don't really like seeing that commented about on their feedback either, which is perfectly understandable.
You had a transaction, but the only thing you want to rate is whether they refunded you or not? What happens when they don't? Do they get a negative that sometimes then gets removed?
But that's me, and I hope I'm wrong.

·4 months agoMost of the sellers listed with just asterisks are those linked to private listings. I think that always happens with those. The others are where the feedback comment has been removed. One wonders if perhaps those were sellers who got eBay to remove the comment because it mentioned a refund?
But I agree that it appears something is going on here beyond having one neg removed.

·4 months agoBecause you violated the feedback policy.
Also, "Ebay" isn't here, and we need more lemon pledge.

Negative feedback can be removed if it violated eBay feedback policy or if you opened a Money Back Guarantee case that was settled in the seller's favor.
I'm a bit curious why five of the comments on the first page of your feedback left are thanking a seller for giving you a refund. If you're hitting up sellers for partial refunds on a regular basis that's not a good thing, and can result in sellers who check your feedback left (and many do) blocking you.

I am wondering that now as well. I wonder if Ebay is onto the OP now making many partial refund requests and if they asked for a partial refund which was then rejected by the seller they leave a negative. That's a no no.

·4 months ago@bonanza125 @kathiec , That makes 3 of us... I noticed the numerous positives with 'Thanks for the refund!!' posts as well. There's more to this than we're getting from the OP.

I would suggest you use the link @kathiec provided, and take notice of the various instances that constitute a policy violation. Ebay doesn't remove feedback for grins.

Did you open an item not as described case?

·4 months agoEbay isn't here. We are buyers and sellers who answer questions and give advice only. We have no authority to remove negative feedback. The reason why feedback gets removed is because you violated the feedback policy. You need to give us more detail about why you left this negative feedback and content in that feedback. Did you use any bad language in the feedback, give out personal information or were aggressive? Was this transaction cancelled? Did the package arrive late which was on the carrier and not the seller? These are reasons why a negative can get removed.
