eBay removes neg feed back very dishonest.
I bought a pair of revolver grips off of eBay. They were fake ivory plastic. The seller took pictures that in hind sight were designed to hide the fact that they were two very different colors. They are both ivory colored but I think they were in the sun for a long time because they were off several shades. Very noticeable. Not just a small one shade difference. The seller used a bright blue background on this set of grips. He also used shading to cover the difference in color. Its obvious after I got the grips. I contacted the seller and he said he would never send grips like the ones I sent him a picture of. These were the exact same grips he sent me. He then said I was trying to scam him by sending him my old grips and keeping his new ones. I posted neg. feed back on this transaction, and with in 2 hours eBay removed the neg feed back. I left no attack on him or called names. I said, Seller took photos that seemed to hide the fact that they are two very different colors and then accused me of trying to scam him. That was it. eBay is very fraudulent in its feed back. I was baffled as to why this guy has 2k plus feed back and its all 100 percent. Now I know why. This is a fraud or a facilitating fraud on eBay. I have put in a dispute on my Credit Card and will win it. I will not even try to work with eBay on this as they have proven themself to be a fraud.

·3 years agoConsidering the OP's attitude and language here I think it's safe to assume the feedback was removed for violating the rule prohibiting "any inappropriate or offensive language" in feedback.

·3 years agoI agree. If the OP cannot complete a sentence without a bleep worthy word, the feedback left was probably the same.

·3 years agoThen they bother the overseas CS reps about the feedback removal, get the same answer every time from every rep they talk to, and then end up here listening to themselves vent about the removal.
Or some similar scenario. The boardies have heard it all and they don't seem to understand that......

OP3 years agoHow on earth can someone say that a seller who takes a photo of an item to hide a problem, then tell the buyer when they complain about it, that they would never send such a thing and the buyer is trying to scam them is in anyway something other than a seller scam? That has to be one of the most ignorant things I have seen here and that is saying something. I sent the grips back, I am sure the seller will say they did not get them or they are not the ones sent bla bla bla. But My CC will take care of it. done and done. eBay seems to support scamming. I gave up on using eBay protection when I sold a lot of archery patches, seller left glowing feed back, then a week later said they were not what he expected and wanted a refund and eBay sided with the buyer. I use my CC if eBay wants to cancel my account, they can knock them self out.

I strongly recommend you shop elsewhere. You are either trigger-happy with regards to leaving bad feedback … or you don’t know how to evaluate and communicate with sellers.
[I will assume your reply to me will be just another *bleep*. 🙂 ]

·3 years agoThe honest play here was to open a Item Not As Described case, the seller provides a prepaid return label for you and you send the item back and get a full refund.
NOT, keep the item and get a refund from your credit card. Added you to my Buyer Blocked List.

·3 years agoSomebody comes here displaying the attitude the OP is showing is simple not very credible. I believe the seller.

Bleep to you too. How infantile

·3 years agoHad you opened a 'not as described' case with eBay and prevailed, then left feedback, it would have been far less likely to have been removed.

OP3 years agothat is just **bleep**.

The fraud in this situation is with the buyer.
When an item arrives that is different than the description, eBay’s Money Back Guarantee covers the buyer.
The seller would send a prepaid return shipping label and the buyer sends the item back at no cost to the buyer. Once the package is delivered back to the seller, the buyer is refunded.
The situation, as presented here, has none of that.
Instead, they are going straight to the Credit Card company which will result in the seller losing the item and the money while the buyer gets to have the item and the money.
How is that not fraud?
Feedback is the last part of a transaction.

OP3 years agoYour answer is not the best answer, I when to hit reply and the page jumped and it hit best answer. I sent the them back. I don't deal with eBay because they removed my neg feed back. If you don't understand that someone saying I am scamming them and sending a known product with an issue they tried to hide you are ignorant of how things work in the real world.
