eBay removed feedback I left for seller who refuses to ship or cancel.

After doing some searching I can see this has happened to others as well, I won an auction for an Antique Silver Mesh Purse on the 15th of this month, I asked the seller if it was genuine silver, no answer, all good. Three days later I asked the seller if they would be shipping out the item, they said they'd be sending it the very next day, since then, radio silence. I requested a cancellation, the seller refused it, and when I left negative feedback the seller had it removed, I am now unable to leave any feedback whatsoever. I've used ebay for many years, this isn't even my oldest account, I truly can't believe what its become.

eBay's Money Back Guarantee for buyers offers very good help in situations like yours. If you're not familiar with it as pertains to this, then it's time to do some reading.

While you can request a cancellation, sellers are never required to grant that request. So your feedback was removed because it was about something the seller is not required to do and was left before you followed the procedures to report an item not received.

I never worry about tracking. I note the last estimated delivery date and if the item isn't received by the day after that I open a Money Back Guarantee case. Your feedback was very premature.

Well you cant cancel an order that may be in transit, or leave negative fb that way either. What is the estimated delivery date? If the purse does not arrive shortly after that, file an item not received case. If the seller does not respond, after the fourth day, go back to the case and ask Ebay to step in. the button will be there,and you will be refunded.
