eBay not trustable.
eBay let a seller sell me an item, I paid for that item, the seller listed the item again and five minutes after listing the item I paid for canceled my payment gave me zero communication. The seller sold the item a paid for at a higher price. I have reported this to eBay, eBay has allowed this to take place and 100% backed up the seller, also after this I decided to do a little investigation on this seller. I found this is not the first time this seller has successfully done this on eBay, also I found this seller to personally attack a buyer who has a negative experience explaining to the buyer that they a a poor parent and telling them how to be a parent this seller would approve of, also numerous other feedback from this sellers buyer that reflects a negative buying experience and multiple examples where the seller in the feedback responses blames the buyers for the results of the sellers actions. Each time I report this to eBay more than 12 reports in the last 8 days now since 10/13/2025 it's now 10/22/2025 and eBay still is keeping this seller. Every eBay agent said that this could lead up to account suspension if it's warranted. What I want to know dose this gross negligent misconduct and repeated eBay policy violation slander and personal attacks and accusations warrant an account suspension or if this seller has earned eBays support?

·10 months agoWhy would you even buy from a seller who has multiple negative feedback?
Why haven't you left that seller negative feed back for an out of stock cancellation?

OP10 months agoThank you for all your response so far. I believed all the things that I've gotten in response to be 100% true before I posted to eBay community. This confirms my suspension that eBay will 100% back up sellers who violate eBay policies and make accusations on other sellers calling them names. Also eBay automatically will remove any feedback negative or positive if the payment was cancelled for any reason because the only reason eBay has given eBay members to use is for the exact item received from the purchase nothing to to with the sale, just if the sale lead to a confirmed delivery if no confirmed delivery eBay considers the buyers money locked up for any amount of time against the buyers actions but as a result of the sellers actions the buyer is at fault if the buyer thinks they did not have a positive experience.

·10 months agoYes negative feedback which indicate a cancellation will get removed. That is correct. Also when it comes to a negative experience with a seller need to work with the buyer to resolve any issues you may have. Now in this case that doesn't apply but in other cases it does. As a seller I expect to know exactly what an issue is if any so I can resolve that issue at the best of my ability. I do that as a buyer. I contact the seller to resolve the problem.

·10 months agoI may be wrong but you should be able to leave feedback that will stay.
I have seen numerous feedbacks this week alone that say "Buyer canceled my order for incorrect address. There is nothing wrong with my address."
Your feedback should stick.
Just don't write anything that will force the feedback to be removed. Stick to facts.

·10 months ago@44012 and then a seller can simply reply with 'not according to USPS'
In reality, a 'cancelled' transaction is now not even a transaction, therefore no feedback should even be allowed in the first place.

·10 months agoIn reality that is what I would think too.
@stainlessenginecovers
But I am almost positive that a buyer can leave feedback if the seller cancelled.
The feedbacks I saw were from October of this year after the feedback changes were made.
In the past I had people leave me neutrals on orders they cancelled. And I would have a space in the leave feedback for the buyer which I would ignore b/c they cancelled.
In the past eBay removed my neutrals given because I allowed the cancellation. Now the rules have changed
This just what I have observed in the past couple weeks.

·10 months agoFeedback doesn't relate to whether a "Transaction" was canceled or not, Feedback is a reference to the "Experience" Seller and Buyer had between one another during that "Transaction". If one "Canceled" the transaction, that was a "Negative" experience for the other, and that's what the Feedback reflected.

·10 months agoYou are accomplishing nothing by continuing to report this same seller. Your job is to report them 1 time and let Ebay handle it. That's it. Ebay will not make a decision on suspending a seller based on your 1 complaint. Yes you had a bad experience with a seller. Just don't deal with them anymore. Also review feedback before purchasing. If the seller has negatives which could be red flags then don't buy from them.

·10 months agoThis site, just like any other, needs 8 people to 'report' this issue, NOT you reporting 8 times.

·10 months agoSo it states somewhere that it takes 8 people?

·10 months agoThey didn't "Report" the Seller 8 times. They Reported the Seller 12 times over an 8 day time period.
Boy, they must've realllllllly wanted whatever it was the Seller was selling, then cancelled on them. 😂

·10 months agoEbay keeps track of sellers who cancel orders without justification and when they exceed a set percentage of their sales punishes them in a variety of ways.
Your reports are worthless. Ebay customer service or any other Ebay human being does not deal with them.
Punishment ranges from decreased search placements to limitations of listings to an extra fee on all listings to expulsion from the site.
Ebay avoids she says/he says disputes by using automated processes.
