Ebay Item purchased December 2, 2023 selected send to Vault. Item never shipped.
I ordered a Dirk Nowitzki rookie card on December 2, 2023, selected ship to vault and paid the same day item #03-09421-43860. During November-December I had purchased about 3 dozen cards where I selected to send to vault including half a dozen of this same card. New to vault at the time, since this card "appeared" in my vault I assumed things were good to go. Fast forward to tonight when I was shipping the majority of my vault cards home or to PWCC I realized this card was never shipped yet I was never refunded. I tried to open a case but my purchased available to do this only go back to April. The seller is no longer on Ebay. What options do I have/who at Ebay do I contact to resolve this issue?

OP2 years agoEbay ended up issuing a credit for the item that the seller failed to ship to vault yet still showed up as in my vault.

·3 years ago7 months is way too late for any type of dispute.
As a buyer, you have a responsibility to follow up on purchases, both for receipt and to verify that what you received is "as described."

·3 years agoThe user agreement you accepted when you joined eBay forces you into binding arbitration. Even if it didn't, you'll lose in small claims. No company offers a 'no rules, anything goes' guarantee. EBay's Money Back Guarantee has rules, linked to in multiple places on the site. Your claim didn't conform to those rules. Case closed.

You have waited too long to take any action to get a refund through eBay, PayPal or your card provider. You should have checked your vault well before now, to make sure the card(s) were actually in it. You have let the time frame pass for any buyer protections, that I know of.
eBay's Money Back Guarantee (MBG) only gives you 30 days from tracking showing Delivered or from the last estimated delivery date, if no tracking was provided, to file an item not received dispute. You have been a member long enough to know how it works.
PayPal gives you 180 days from the date of purchase to file an item not received claim through them. Card provider's protections give from 90-180 days depending on the provider's buyer protections time frame, to file for a charge back.

OP3 years agoI’ve got photos of my vault showing 11 items currently in vault which would include this card. Going to reach out to eBay customer service. They have a guarantee they advertise so if they won’t issue at least a seller fees credit I’ll just file it in small claims court against eBay.

·3 years agoExcept small claims will be dismissed as part of the user agreement you agree to using ebay includes binding arbitration....
