eBay is scamming
eBay computers keeps changing my Street to Rd and my zip code after I have changed it to the correct address. Now my items are going back and some are not coming until the end of September and October. I need the fire stick now not September or October because the football games starts this Thursday. So I had purchased another fire stick. I don't need the fire stick from eBay or the seller now and they won't refund me my money and saying this case is closed! It's not closed to me and if I have to sue I will! I can't trust eBay anymore and just want my money back! This matter will never be resolved until I am refunded!

Just wishing you luck in getting your account closed ASAP. Nobody should have to go through the ordeal of your having an active account.

OP2 years agoI only replied to eBay that I'm closing my account not to the public. But what about the rest the people that feels the same as I do? All those eBay accounts closed! Hey, don't hate me for standing up for myself! People will take advantage! Another tired message!

Why would I hate you? I only hate what you've done to innocent sellers ... seemingly for the sole purpose of attracting eBay's attention to an address problem.
I also am a buyer only ... and I just don't want sellers to associate me with your type of 'red-donut communication'. Fortunately, since you've decided to show yourself so clearly ... sellers have been forewarned about your willingness to trash their reputations if eBay should ever make a mistake on your order.
[Since buyers can only receive positive feedback ... sellers must look at the feedback we've left for our previous sellers to tell what type of buyer we are. They do that when deciding whether to accept an offer or a bid from us. Sellers now know to transact with you at their own risk.]

OP2 years agoYes I apologize for one of the sellers about the pet feeder, he was the only one out of the four sellers that responded quickly and rushed my order a couple of days later. I left the message on that site but not about the seller or the product but about how eBay! Again, I apologize for one of the sellers that responded quickly. The others, well one did not give a date when I would receive the item and responded no refunds case closed and I have not heard from this seller since and only thing I know at this time that it went back by USPS because there no such address. The other two is that I can't get the packages until September and November, when I was supposed to have them in another week. With no other response! I don't need those items two to three months from now! Let it be the customer choice!
I'm blaming eBay glitches on there part. I have shopped on eBay for several years and never had a problem until know and I don't need those items in two months, I need them now! Can I call the NFL and tell them to stop the preseason games, do I want wait until two months to fix my glasses! No I don't need them now. Sellers, you should connect with the buyer better than some. Without buyers their can't be sellers.

·2 years agoEvery listing has an estimated arrival date in the shipping options. And you dont need a sellers permission to return a not as described item,or to file a case for item not received. Ebays thirty day money back guarantee overrides that. You go to your transaction, use the drop down menu and follow the prompts to open a case. The seller is responsible to provide a return label and refund after return. If you didnt receive the item, Ebay will force a refund.Too bad you didnt bother to read up on all this before you left feedback.

Your feedback speaks for itself. FOUR different sellers had their Feedback Percentages downgraded for a year through no fault of their own … just so you could send a message to eBay about your address.
The sellers should not have to refund money if they shipped the item to the address they were given … UNLESS the package has been returned to them.
You MAY be able to get a courtesy refund from eBay if you can provide evidence that eBay changed your address on FOUR different orders.

·2 years agoeBay is not an individual; it is merely a platform for sales, governed by rules and a user agreement. All transactions, including the sale and purchase of items, are conducted by the platform's users.

·2 years agoBlaming all those sellers and leaving negs for them, when it clearly wasn't their mistake, was a harsh move on your part.

OP2 years agoI tried calling and using their online help and no help and one of the Sellers did not care! But when every one is involved then you get somewhere and finally eBay responded and now I'm geting my refund! So your wrong have a nice day!
albertabrightalberta
·2 years agoThe sellers can't do anything about your address. Sellers don't have access to any addresses (or banking information) in your account and don't deserve those feedbacks.
It's quite selfish of you to only care that you got refunded for an error you made.

It looks like you missed the OP's followup post #8 in which he said, "eBay claim to refund my money back and two days later eBay is not giving me my money and not taking responsibility for their computer glitches!"
mtmc_61
OP2 years agoU must be a seller or work for eBay to say that and if you are that was a harsh message on your behalf. So if anyone reading this messages make sure you don't buy this seller and if you are just someone whom have nothing to do with your life, you need to get life!

·2 years ago@mtmc_61,
eBay does not make changes to your addresses. When you entered your new address did you delete the old one and make the new one your primary "Ship To" address? I have 5 stored addresses and have had 3 primary ones since I created this account, and the only time, there was an issue was when I accidentally chose a Gift address and marked it as my primary one many years ago.
When you go to check out you should see the address the item will be shipped to, and you can change it before sending the payment.
If you are using the app you may want to login to your account the classic way with your username and password. Go to your My ebay page, click on the Account button > Addresses > Shipping Address > Edit, add the newest one, delete any older ones and make the new one your default/primary one. Write out Street or Road. and use a +4 zip code.
mtmc_61
OP2 years agoyes I deleted my old address, but after attempting to delete my account someone finally call me by phone and is now refunding me.

OP2 years agoeBay claim to refund my money back and two days later eBay is not giving me my money and not taking responsibility for their computer glitches! But I'm not the one to let this company take advantage of the me! So I'll let my attorney handle this. I am going through a lot with this matter and it is causing stress on me! eBay i just want my money back and will never use your service anymore and I promise to let people know about your irresponsibility! I should had listened when several people told me not to shop from eBay!

·2 years agoBefore you let your attorney handle it I suggest you actually read the user agreement you accepted when you opened your account. It severely limits your ability to sue eBay.
albertabrightalberta
·2 years agoSeriously? You're going to pay an attorney $200/hour or more to collect $24.39 ($1.79 + $6.60 + $16) from the 3 sellers whose items you claim were sent to the wrong address that YOU have on your account?
This was your error in not verifying that the shipping address was correct.
And FYI, we aren't ebay employees or shills.
mtmc_61
OP2 years agoYES! YES! YES!
janet9988
·2 years agoYes about what?
You keep rudely telling everyone they are wrong...........yet they were not.
