Ebay is giving me the run around, avoiding their money back guarantee.
I bought a Rifle magazine for a marling bolt action rifle, it is described as fitting all marling bolt actions and auto loaders Pre 1996. It wasn't even close to fitting, The seller has no returns on the listing. I made a claim with ebay, I said it didn't fit. It was described that it would fit my rifle. ebays contacts twice tell me to rest assured they will take care of it, after two chat sessions I couldn't chat anymore and had to send an email. I got two responses to the email basicly blowing smoke and telling me to contact the seller, the seller will not respond to my messages. I am unable to contact ebay at all about this item now. Is there anything I can do? Order number 04-11682-51837.

·2 years ago@bryan8707 doesn't fit is considered a remorse reason and sellers who don't accept returns don't have to accept returns for a remorse reason, but they can if they want to, they just don't HAVE to per eBay policy.
You can't open another return case, so now open a paypal case or dispute the credit card charge, whichever is applicable

·2 years agoDid you follow the appropriate Ebay Money Back Guarantee procedure to open a claim for Not As Described?
If you had, it would be unusual for anyone from Ebay to contact you. If you did not open the claim but simply contacted support, there is no predicting what the customer service reps might have done.
Try following the procedure to request the return
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/return-item-refund?id=4041
There is also the link to check on your request if you already opened it.

·2 years agoYou opened the wrong type of case.
You should have claimed that the item was "not as described" since it said it was for a certain rifle but it was not for that type.
