eBay gave seller old address
After moving from Ga to Fl I went on eBay and changed to the new address. After changing the address I purchased 22 other item and they were all sent to the new address. When eBay sent me an email confirming the 23 purchase I replied they had given the seller the old address. When I checked to find out if the address correction was showing an it was. Then I received an email thanking me for the update. Ebay insisted I was at the old address and had received the package. Stranger still the last purchase is not in my purchase history. If it wasn't for the email I wouldn't have any proof I had made the purchase.

·1 year agoSorry this happened to you. Here's a cautionary tale: Have lived at my current address for 57 years; however, any time I purchase on line, I double check the address shown to me as the delivery address. Strangely, a few years ago, there was an address that was not only not mine, but not the address of anyone I know or am related to. Of course, I changed it. And it only happened that one time.

I think that's a process of adding your new 'Ship to' account, then confirming it on your first order before it sticks. I think...

OP1 year agoSince changing to the new address I made 22 purchases. They were all sent to the new address.
Only the 23 purchase was sent to the old address.

·1 year agoWhich address is the default shipping address? That is the address that should appear at checkout unless you change it yourself.
If you don't use the old address, you should probably delete it from your shipping addresses.
If the new purchase and the old address do not appear in your current account, you likely have more than one eBay account.
If you made that 23rd purchase using a different eBay account that still had the old address as the default, that would certainly explain it.

If the transaction does not appear anywhere on your Purchase History page, you should consider the possibility that you have more than one eBay account; apparently it is very easy to create a new account inadvertently by signing in using a social media account that is not already linked to an existing eBay account.
Changing an address for a current order:
Buyers can change the shipping address at checkout right up until payment is sent. After that, the shipping address for that transaction cannot be changed.
The seller is required to ship to the address that comes with the payment or lose all protection in the event of an "item not received" case. Scammers often send messages urging the seller to ship to another address, so sellers are rightly wary of such requests.
The seller can cancel the transaction and relist to allow the buyer to purchase again and provide the correct address, but sellers are not required to do any of that.
Changing an address stored in the eBay account for future orders:
Go here to update all the various addresses associated with your account:
https://accountsettings.ebay.com/uas/addresses
Make sure the correct address is designated as the Primary Shipping Address -- that is the address that should appear by default at checkout.
