·4 years agoYou're not new, you don't buy much, but you've been here for 5 years.
That said, do you 'chat' with wallyworld when you get something that isn't right? Nope, you package it up and send it back, or get in your car and bring it back.
Talking to the seller, does no good, you learned your lesson right?
I've bought defective merchandise and notified the seller. Most, if not all chinese sellers will get you going in a dialog, trying to get you past the 30 day return, or if you've already filed, past the 21 day return mailing window. You're seller did that to you.
Now you're only choice is your funding source. Let's hope you paid with a credit card that offers a money back guarantee.

When you open a return request you have the option of working something out with the seller. The seller may want the item back, you may want a refund. The seller might offer a partial refund to keep the item, or the seller could even tell you to keep the item and he'll send you another, this has happened to me before. In addition , eBay gives both the buyer and the seller the option of requesting an extension of the return request period. Why? Because sellers and buyers, as just stated, do sometimes decide to work things out in ways other than a return. The return request provides a framework. How that framework is used can vary. This explains why the person that you responded to might have been chatting with the seller over a period of days instead of just returning the item.
