Ebay charged me for an item, seller shipped out then retrieved it back from post office
Hi, I sent an offer to a seller, later Ebay charged me and the seller shipped out before I could cancel, but the seller retrieved it back from the post office now I don't know what to do since I opened a dispute, that won't allow me to do anything on Ebays site. When I click on return item or item hasn't arrived Ebay just says ''You can’t open a request for this item You can't file this request because you already filed a dispute for this order with your payment institution.'' The seller isn't responding so what do I do?

As others have stated, as far as help from ebay goes, you've pretty much let that ship sail by opening a dispute with your payment provider. As to why the seller isn't responding, they may have blocked you.
Many sellers on this site don't have much of a sense of humor when it comes to buyers making offers and then immediately requesting to cancel.

·2 years ago"seller shipped it out before I could cancel"...why cancel?.."I sent an offer to seller".
"dispute for this order with your payment institution"...eBay steps aside and now your bank will take care of the problem.
"seller isn't responding"...you filed a dispute...seller retrieved his item. Why does seller need to respond to you?

·2 years agoYou can't open a return for something you don't have, because the return would need you to return something.
Look at the order details for the estimated date of delivery. If you don't receive the item after that date you can go back to the order and click "I DIDN'T RECEIVE IT" for your refund.
The seller has 2 days to upload tracking or send a refund. If neither of these things happen you can return to the order and click "ask eBay to step in". You will be refunded.

If you open a payment dispute through PayPal or credit card eBay will be out of the picture and can no longer help.

·2 years agoOnce a payment dispute is filed thru your financial institution, eBay is no longer in the picture.
Now you wait for your financial institution to process and decide the case.
