ebay buyer protection is a joke!
Disappointed with eBay UK! Bought a £1,751 Pokémon card (Order: 01-14294-62977), but Royal Mail delivered an empty, tampered package. Reported to Action Fraud (Ref: RF26030143649C) as advised, yet my wife’s account got permanently suspended for ‘high-risk activity’. Buyer Protection feels useless—double victimized with no appeal. Has anyone faced this? eBay, please review! #eBayFail #BuyerBeware

·6 months ago@ericson-uk don't know how things work in the UK compared to here in the US for this situation, but try disputing the charge with Paypal, credit card, etc

Something that expensive usually gets a signature...and 'tampered package'...would the mail person actually hand you an item and you would accept it as tampered?
'wife's account got permanently suspended'...eBay usually tells you exactly why it was suspended.
We don't know everything.

OP6 months agoSeller uses Royal Mail 2nd Class shipping with no signature required and no tracking. After reporting to UK customer support, they banned my wife’s account permanently with no appeal accepted...
