eBay appeal

I was denied an appeal on an item.
the seller used UPS to shop the item . The item shows delivered but was no where to be found .
calling UPS. The tracking number was to a different address than mine . They wouldnâ€™t tell me where it was delivered to , just that it wasnâ€™t mine . I provided the tracking number and pics showing the delivery building and mine thatâ€™s look nothing alike .
so some one can send a package to another address than mine , show delivered and I still have to pay for it . Seriously?

Basically, yes. The system is automated. eBay does not provide a public policy or procedure for victims of the "fake tracking scam". The first step for YOU is to gain as much information/documentation as you can that the PARCEL was not intended for nor delivered to you, and then GIVE UP on the idea of filing or perusing an "item not received" claim on eBay or anywhere else. If there is a delivered tracking status associated with your order/parcel that is what counts for eBay even though that information is fake.

You will get better results if you contact eBay though one of their social media portals. This puts you in contact with US based eBay employees that DO have the ability to help you and override eBay BOT actions.
Explain that you are a victim of the "fake tracking scam" and you need their assistance.

If you get thrown under the bus by eBay again, there are other things you can do as well. However, it is equally important to know what NOT to do as well before you mistakenly exhaust all your options to gain a refund.

You need a statement from UPS that it wasnâ€™t delivered to your address. It doesnâ€™t have to show what address it was delivered to, just a statement that it wasnâ€™t YOUR address. Thatâ€™s what you need to appeal the decision.

Then, you should contact eBay via social media, facebook or twitter, because those are US based customer service providers that can actually do something about problems.

Thanks .. Iâ€™ll do exactly that . I was just bewildered that I provided all the information and yet denied . I even mentioned that there was at meat 5 other people who stated the same exact thing in the sellers feedback .

The initial decision is made by bots, and they simply see a delivery scan and auto decline the case. Also, when you contact eBay, tell them you were a victim of the fake tracking scam. This scam is really getting out of hand, not just on eBay, but across the internet.

While I in no way disagree, I am concerned about eBay's new feedback viewing opportunities from a listing itself. Here in the forums we can still click on the number with the 'star' and go directly to the page we need. Here we can see a buyer or sellers country of origin, feedback received and left for others, negatives, neutrals, and positive. From a listing it is becoming more obscure.

From a listing, you can still get there but it is not easy nor intuitive especially for a newer user. I am using one of yours as an example. From one of your listings I clicked on the part that says you have 100% feedback.
It takes me to a page where (I suppose the feedbacks are in non-order of eBay's perceived relevance) but must click at the bottom of the page to see more:

That produces another list all mixed up from months and years ago, and selecting See all Feedback again finally produces one with some pagination at the bottom:

None of this or those "filter things" in the blue boxes ever seem to lead to where one needs to go. If I scroll up on this same page, there is still this that does work. I am kind of upset that it takes so many screens, and wonder what is going to happen when the "return to the classic view" is removed.

No wonder buyers are surprised when they find out their purchases are coming from China?????
