I need to remove things I do not wish to purchase. I cannot do that because every seller is on vacation, which isn't possible. I do not have the ebay app. How do I erase things from my cart that shouldn't be there to begin with.

Leaving many items in your cart too long can lead to problems. Do not use your cart to store items unless you are ready to check out.
If one of the sellers of the items in your cart is on vacation, you will see that error message even if you are trying to check out another item.
If you do not see "remove" or "save for later" links for each item in your cart, try another browser.
Or try using the eBay app. Swipe left to delete, swipe right to "save for later".
