There is a community board where questions abut toys can usually be answered You find it by looking at the headers at the top of this page for Categories hovering over it and selecting Toys & Hobbies. There are several Doll collectors who respond to questions about identifying vintage dolls there, who know their stuff.
If the "Patches" doll does not have marking on the back of her head try looking lower down on her back, or on the bottom of the feet. There could also be a Mfrs. name on her clothing tag. If you are sure of the doll being named Patches you can probably find more about her by using the link below.

There are several ways to search for info on the site.
As for the cloth doll, again look for possible info on a clothing tag if there is one. It is possible because of the stamped number on the back of her head, that it is a reproduction of a vintage doll. Most vintage dolls with markings in that area had info that was imprinted (debossed) not stamped on. and those with stamps would mostly have used black ink back in the day.
I can make out the design or letters before the 2009 number, from your photo, but that may be a clue to its maker. The link above could help identify the doll for you.
