Does the seller know if I entered a promo code that eBay gave me when submitting an offer?

There is an item that I want to purchase and I was ready to submit my offer for the seller to accept, counter offer or reject, however, before I submit my offer, I wanted to know if I apply my promotional discount that eBay gave me will the seller know or is this kept confidential, so only the seller sees my offer that I sent them along with my name, mailing address, and email address?

Seller won't see it; but know that if seller accepts, it is AUTOMATICALLY charged/paid for by whatever you have chosen and you cannot change it to 'pay' another way nor 'pay in a minute, an hour etc. It's immediate.
