Does anyone know how to get to a real person at Ebay, not the Ai response sysytem?
The tinkering department appears to be at it again. Removed the category header from individual listings. Anyone know how to get to real people at Ebay to register concerns?

·1 year agoThe "real" eBay employees are assigned to social media.
The ones you phone are subcontractors in Utah or the Philippines.
The advantage of a social media Chat is that you have time to think about what you are typing, the rep has time to understand the actual problem, and time to research the best answer.
The phone reps have a terrible reputation for getting you off the phone as soon as possible even if that means giving you the advice you want to hear instead of the advice you need to have.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

The social media Chat accounts are covered by trained eBay employees with some authority.
And you get a transcript so you can compare what you heard with what you were told.
Don't mistake speaking for thought.

·1 year agoMany eBay pages have a "Tell us what you think" link, or a "Feedback" / "Comment" / "?" link in the lower right of the page that can be used to alert eBay page developers to issues with a page or feature.

I noticed some listings like that today.

Yes, you can request a call back by entering AGENT into the chat box.
You can also post the issue you're having here, we may be able to help you.
