Does anyone here know about QTrack? Having problems.
Placed an order 11/12...got a tracking number from the seller QTTL etc...looked weird. Then today eBay says it's delivered. No way, it's from Florida. Tracking at qtrack.io/home says it went from picked up by carrier, in Florida ...well here is the tracking:
Wednesday, 13 November
8:35 PM Carrier picked up the package. Florida, 33405 Thursday, 14 November
4:01 AM Package is out for delivery. OR Thursday, 14 November
2:56 PM Delivered ORegon
It is not here, bottom line. Unless it was teleported to the wrong house.

·1 year agoHi there,
I've had a similar issue with QTrack before - tracking looked legit but the delivery info was off and never arrived at my address.
It might be a fake tracking number or a recycled one used just to mark it as delivered. You should definitely open a case on eBay if you haven't already and include the QTrack link and your delivery address mismatch.

·1 year agoNot too dissimilar situation happen to me with a qtt tracking number for which there is no shipper. She would never give me the name of the shipper and just said they use their own company. Yeah, right. And the timeline also for me was a little odd being a very short timeline. The pan was overcharged by about $15 and I had so many back and forth messages with her which really wore me down. Very very distressing situation with her. I was pretty disgusted. She did redeem herself in the end by giving me a full refund. What a waste of my time.

·1 year agoI just had the same problem. E bay says item shipped, then next day says delivered. I received nothing. Had the same tracking QTT.... I believe this is a scam and I have been ripped off. E bay won't refund because item tracking says it's been delivered.

·1 year agoAfter having a horrible experience with a seller who used QTrack, here's what I think is going on here.
QTrack seems like it is a legitimate service, but it is used sometimes for nefarious reasons. It can be used to integrate Amazon tracking numbers into systems that don't natively accept Amazon tracking, like eBay. This is sometimes used legitimately for businesses who fulfill their orders by Amazon, and just have storefronts on eBay and other sites. The seller might even have the ability to manually update the QTrack information, to show information that isn't accurate.
In the case I just had, it was used to bypass eBay's policy regarding drop shipping from Amazon after the sale on eBay. I purchased an item for $19.95 on eBay, from a seller who's location was listed as Denver, Colorado. I received the item next day, delivered by my local Amazon warehouse in the Midwest, in an Amazon package, with an Amazon gift receipt and return option. I found out the item was listed on Amazon for $13.99. The QTrack information was inaccurate, since it showed it shipped from Colorado the day after I received it, and then delivered the next day.
I think the QTrack address used as the origin for tracking is likely the business address of the company on eBay selling the item. I know Colorado is often used for specific tax reasons, so it's a common origin address in these sorts of situations. I think someone set up an LLC in Colorado, and just has a bot auto list items from Amazon, process orders, and charges a 40% premium for their "service". This explicitly goes against eBay's policies, so if you come across it, I recommend reporting the seller to eBay.

·1 year agoI just got burned again with fake tracking, this time it was using QTRACK. This is a fake tracking number scam. I will lose my money because any tracking number is accepted, valid or not. I will no longer purchase off of eBay.

·1 year agoHello moondogblues! This is exactly what happened to me! I was like there is no way this order got here in 7hours and from Colorado to Mass, not possible. It looked odd not like other orders that have arrived and actually show the stops along the way and who the shipper was like USPS or Fedex etc. it said carrier unknown. It was just stating delivered with what I found out to be a false tracking number. I contacted this qtrack and the number was not found and was invalid. I opened a ebay claim and because the Seller put in this fake tracking number I lost the claim. I flipped out because the tracking number was fake and ebay was like duh. So, feeling robbed I called ebay and spoke with a human, she was lovely and understood the tracking given by the Seller was fake and she her self with me on the phone tried to track it and found out what I did the number was in fact invalid. She also said there is no way this was delivered to you from that distance in that small time and no carrier was listed and actually said carrier unknown. You need to call ebay like I did and tell them this has happened to you and is some type of new scam and some dishonest Sellers are doing this and report it like I did. See, Sellers know that if you report it was delivered and provide bogus tracking numbers you win the case and ebay just sides with the Seller. It is the lowest of the low and we do not need Sellers like this in ebay! I do not know what will happen with my case, but if we stick together and let ebay know about this qtrack scam they will be forced to acknowledge this is happening. Call them and report it just like I did and maybe they will get that just because a Seller submits tracking it does not mean it was delivered and that the tracking could be fake. Good luck and let me know what happens.

Sure it's possible. If, like most of the QTrack shipments, it's coming from Amazon the package came from a local Amazon warehouse. What you're experiencing is a form of the fake tracking scam. It's not specific to QTrack; it happens with all carriers.

·1 year agoI have had the same experience. I have got two different notifications. One said it was delivered at 8:26 this morning and another at 1:34. This afternoon have looked high and low for it cannot find it have tried to contact the seller still haven’t heard anything

·1 year agoMy package was shipped from Colorado and was declared delivered 3 days later. I was unable to get a refund through Ebay since the tracking said it was delivered. It was not. I'm now trying to go through Paypal but don't have any hope there either. Had a previous issue with another delivery in January. Was not delivered and tracking said it was. The seller would not provide the carrier information. Finally provided a bogus USPS number but Paypal didn't care. This is a pain.

·1 year agoThere seems to be a misunderstanding of what QTrack is. QTrack is not a carrier. They don't deliver packages. Like Aquiline it's a back-end tracking management system that allows sites like eBay to be able to read internal system tracking, primarily from Amazon. It is no more or less prone to shipping errors or fake tracking scams than anything else, since the actual shipping is handled by a regular carrier such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.

·1 year agoHaving the same issue. Thought tracking number looked strange. Ordered on Saturday 8 Feb and tracking says was delivered on Monday 10 Feb, which seemed too fast. Today is Wednesday 12 Feb and still no package. I checked the order details page to try to figure out what carrier was used for shipping. That info wasn't available, but the weird thing was that the seller's address was listed as Israel but the item listing said Colorado. If my package ever arrives, I wouldn't be surprised if it's in an Amazon box.

Today is Tuesday December 24 still have not received. Contacted seller told me to check with neighbors and family. I told them i live in a apartment complex we have boxes with keys also have a camera in my window with a complete view of the mailbox. Requested I wait another 24 hours. That's all they are getting will request a refund if package come will return it. And get item from another seller not using QT..

·1 year agoThe last seller to leave you feedback is another Amazon dropshipper.
itsjustasprain
·1 year agoAre you sure about that? That seller feedback is full of raves about how good their packaging is. That does not sound like Amazon in the least.
Could they be doing a Fulfilled By Amazon deal where Amazon stocks their pre-packed merchandise (packed by the seller) and just ships it out on command?

·1 year agoI'm also having the same problem. If I don't get the results I want, then I will turn this seller over to the general attorney office for them to investigate this seller.

Give us some more detail about what exactly has happened in your case and people here can make some recommendations for you.

Curious what was the location of the item in the listing and what is the sellers return policy? This sounds like a case of retail arbitrage which is not allowed on eBay. I believe you can report the seller for that violation. Regardless of the return policy you can open a return request for NAD.

·1 year agoRetail arbitrage is not banned on Ebay. Using another retailer to drop ship is banned if the drop shipment can be identified as sourced from a retailer. An Amazon shipment in Amazon packaging is not permitted. An Amazon shipment using their Multi-Channel Fulfillment in packaging which does not have the Amazon smile and other markings is permitted.
itsjustasprain
·1 year agoThat's what retail arbitrage IS. That is not drop shipping. To be a drop shipper here you need a contracted wholesaler who will handle the orders from you and collect a payment from you at shipping time.
An Ebay seller CAN use Amazon fulfillment if it's his own items that they are storing and shipping for him. I know it's kind of a fine distinction but it is there.

This is more along the lines of what I had interpreted retail arbitrage and drop shipping to mean.

The FBA and FBM models Amazon, and others have setup, are making it difficult for eBay to specifically tell when someone is drop shipping and when someone is doing retail arbitrage. Recent Amazon report indicate that about 40% of their shipments are through FBA or FBM agreements and that number is rapidly increasing. While I don't use the program, not that big of a seller, I can see a number of advantages to it for both the buyer and the seller in the wake of rising shipping costs, packing materials, handling time.............
However, looking at the OP's situation this does not look like an FBA type of order but without additional information it's difficult to determine.

·1 year agoAlso, that vendor pays Amazon a percentage of each sale for storing and handling order fulfillment . I opened and Commissioned 2 DCs for them Yahoos.

Sorry, my misunderstanding of what retail arbitrage is. I get items through the FBA or FBM that are in Amazon packages all the time.
