It appears somebody didn't like the subject matter.......LOL.......
It wasn't my post so whatever but it makes me wonder how some people can deal with grocery shopping, driving, TV in general etc. if the post I saw that on seemed offensive enough to "pause".
It makes me wonder how some would react to something actually horrific....................

Was that one of the topics that had a high number of replies, say well over 25? It may have been locked because the conversation was getting out of hand and was reported.

OP1 week agoNo not that many replies and the conversation wasn't rude or impolite.
It was about a book written by a notorious german leader in the 30's and 40's.

·1 week agoEven if you don't consider that particular leader horrific (which I would find very disturbing), eBay categorically forbids listings having anything to do with him or his regime. Apparently they extend that to their forums. I, for one, am glad.

Your statement is incorrect -- there are thousands of books available for sale on eBay regarding that individual and the years when he was in power, and eBay obviously does NOT forbid sellers from listing those books.
However -- eBay DOES forbid the sale of books with swastikas pictured on the cover from being purchased or sent to buyers in Austria, France, Germany and Italy.

OP1 week agoIt was a discussion on a book. Not the individual per se. I do consider him horrific but discussions about a book, any book shouldn't be censored.
Learning from the horrors of the past are how not to let them repeat. Ignore them and well..................
