Disappearing Sales History
For some reason, every time eBay tries to improve the Sales History something else worse happens. Recently, just as happened years ago, the sales history has started to disappear again. When I call up the report, most of my purchases from 2022 have gone missing, as well as most of my purchases from this past January. Of course, as always seems to happen there is no way to reach anyone in customer service about it. You can "Tell them what you think" through the Purchase History page's link, and you can leave your e-mail with your comments in hopes of getting some kind of help, but they obviously don't care.
Last time this happened it didn't get fixed for a very long time. I should add that it was almost impossible prior to this to print out a sales history allowing only one page at at time. Now IT IS FULLY impossible. They keep lowering the level of service. When does it end?

OP3 years agoHi. Thanks for responding. Your situation is a bit different I think. When you look at the Purchase History under eBay without changing the filtering to items purchased in 2022 it won't see it, as it defaults to only the last 60 days. However, if you are filtering for all purchases from 2022 (which I assume you are doing) then it definitely should appear. If I were you, and if the latter is the situation you are looking at, then I would contact eBay and tell them about the seller's failure to deliver the item from your purchase. They may be able to help you get your money back. EBay can provide you the information that you require to at least contact the seller if that's part of the problem.
I generally stay away from extended delivery date offerings as it causes problems reclaiming the funds from the seller if there is an issue like this. This is true for PayPal, eBay, and even major banks or credit card companies that you may be using to make your payment for you. I hope that it works out and that you get your custom-made mirror. Poland is experiencing major chaos from the wave of refugees from the Ukraine right now. That may be part of the problem.

·3 years agoYour problem might be similar to mine. I bought a round window on French ebay (from Poland I think) in November 2022 with a delivery date of early to mid February – it hasn't arrived and I see no mention of the purchase in my ebay history even though I can see that €225 left my account in November! Bit strange to say the least.

·3 years agoAbout all that you can really do is to make your desires known & report issues needing attention & features that require repair.
Some appear to have found it best to effectively deal with or eliminate their frustration in walking away

OP3 years agoI agree, but unfortunately walking away won't give me the information that I now need. Do you know of any other venue to use that's similar, maybe?
I did make the problem known, just as I have with other issues in the past. They have told me that the fix is that you now have to submit a request for a report and they will supposedly send it to you in a couple of months. That's not a fix. That's seems to be more of a dodge, thinking that maybe you will forget about it by then. It's just another poor business practice, whether it's true or not.
EBay used to be both fun and useful. Now it's really neither.
