Did they ever fix no combined ship on offers?
Hi, I sometimes get multiple BIN offers from a single foreign seller but there's never been a way to combine shipping, which is expensive for an individual item. They just require payment plus shipping for each tiny item. Did eBay ever correct this? They'd get more sales, ya know.

·1 year agoRecently eBay changed the rules and procedures for offers (both ways): An acceptance does not actually result in an "order" or "transaction" but rather the buyer must actually pay before the item is his/hers and the listing ends (or in a multiple-item listing the quantity is reduced), and the item is available to other buyers to buy until then. I don't know whether eBay has made arrangements for a formal method for a buyer to request and a seller to grant a discount for combined shipping (check to see if the items are in your Cart after you click the accept link but before you pay and see if you can "request a total" if they are), but at the least you can message the seller and see if s/he will commit to a partial refund for the end result to be what you would have paid if s/he was able to send a combined invoice.

ebay only set up automatic payment, seller's have the ability to opt out, though some do not know it was foisted on them. Unless the seller is a high volume one and/or based in China you can always message them and ask if they will refund the overage.
