My question is how long should I wait to file a did not receive claim. It has been over two weeks and item status still shows awaiting shipping.

·6 months agoSorry that you had a bad experience here. We hope that does not happen again, but please make note of this just in case:
Once an item is overdue by just one day, per the EDD seen in the listing, the buyer can open an item not received case with eBay and has 30 days to do so; however, if tracking shows the shipment to be moving through the system, eBay advises to give it a little more time, not to exceed the 30 days, of course.

·6 months agoIn that case I would not wait around any longer. The proper way to handle this and to protect yourself is to file an Item Not Received. I might feel differently if the item had been shipped and you were seeing that it was moving but was just "stuck." In this case it appears your seller has not even shipped it. File the INR. If the seller does not respond to the INR within 3 days, you can ask eBay to step in and you will be refunded. Do not let the seller give you some lame excuse through messages. Your clock has already started.

OP6 months agoStatus Update: Thank you all for the great advice. Other than my one message to the seller advising that I have not received my item which had no reply, I no longer attempted to contacted the seller. EBAY yesterday approved and sent my refund.
