Did i get scammed?
I recently purchased an item from a seller that seemed trustworthy because of his rating. After a few days after the purchase I was wondering why the item hasn't been shipped yet so I decided to check the sellers feedback. I noticed that some other account had left a review of the item that I purchased. If I did get scammed what is the best approach to the situation?

The time to check a seller's feedback profile, is before you buy from them. If the seller in question, is the one you received a feedback from, their rating as a very poor one by ebay standards for higher volume sellers. Most here will tell you not to buy from high volume sellers who have less than a 98.6% rating. My bar is set higher.
When you open a seller's feedback profile page, you can click on the numbers of neutral and negative feedback they have received to read only those comments. That seller's nasty replies to the negatives, would have me hitting the back button, even if they had a higher percentage.

It is not unusual for sellers to come across more than one of an item to sell. The seller you have received feedback from may be operating a hock shop, considering the disparate items they list, tools, photo equipment, personal electronics, video games, comic books, band equipment...etc., all used.
Open your Order details which will give you the last estimated delivery date. If your item does not arrive by that date, the next day use the More actions button and file an item Not Received (INR) dispute by selecting I have not received the item. The seller will have 3 days to reply and provide proof of shipment. If they do not in that time use the Ask ebay to step in button.
The link below gives you the terms and policies of ebay's Money Back Guarantee (MBG) read it, and bookmark it for future use should you need it.

In summary, you have 30 days after delivery to file a claim. If nothing is received after the expected delivery date, and you see no action the tracking, you submit item not received claim.
