Despite My Best Efforts, Had to Block All Emails From eBay
I buy, I sell, I've been a member for 26 years, and I've had to block all emails from eBay. If I buy four things from one seller, I'll wind up with about 16 emails telling me that each of those things is at a post office somewhere, when they'll be expected, etc. If I sell something, same thing - emails telling me I've posted the item, where the item is, when it's delivered, etc. I don't want to receive any of that. Meanwhile, a notification I could actually use, like telling me I've sold something and should mail it, I never receive those. I've tried editing out eBay notifications, right on down to unchecking all notifications - no effect, it's meaningless. I've learned over the years that calling customer service never solves anything. So, now, I've told gmail to block Ebay completely. A sorry state of affairs, indeed.

·11 months agoOpen a new email account that is only for eBay then make sure to update your account. I would never trust messages to check for solds, check the actual selling page.
I too receive those annoying messages about things I bought and was unable to turn them off. I agree, I don't need that much info or updates filling my in box.
When I buy, I check myself to follow it across the county and have informed delivery notices setup so don't need the redundant messages filling my inbox.

I too have a side email for ebay only. We, as in people who both BUY and SELL on ebay, probably get what, 20-30 emails from ebay daily. Right? Want to know how many emails I open daily from ebay? None. Zero. Select All - Delete. Select All - Delete. I do that daily.
Only thing that concerns me with Communicating on ebay is that Notification Bell up there on the top of the page. When it comes to communicating on ebay, if it's not in my Messages, it does not concern me.
