Defective hard drives
I bought two of the external hard drives from the seller probably get into trouble saying who it is when I got them they was really lite weight I used them files went onto them but then stopped kept giving me errors and would not let me take the files off
I took a case again him first he only wanted to give me 15.00 when I spent 32.00 for them I said no these are fake counterfeit drives (I wish I could report him but where) So he final give me a refund
Pictures attached is what I got from him (I opened one up) these are not hard drives these are thumb drives in glued into a Serial ATA Case like the saying says from China if it looks to good it is a rip off
Thank you now I have two pieces of metal oh ya I guess I should have read his feedback he has several negative on this same item so be careful out there it is not longer safe I hope eBay does something about this counterfeit items on there site

·3 years agoLook like they just stripped a USB thumb drive and glued it into the box. I'm not certain that qualifies as an "SSD" drive albeit yeah, its solid state.
Did you try it on USB 2.0 Port vs 3.0?

If you bought from a seller in China you can usually expect to get junk. Sorry this happened to you.

There is a lot of excellent high quality electronics offered by Chinese sellers but lowest price is not the way to shop for them.
