·3 years agoIn case you misdiagnosed the problem: you are on ebay.com (primarily US site) when you should be on ebay.com.au (Australian site) to be able to set up listings in AUD and to see a higher percentage of listings in AUD (and an "approximate"--always too low--conversion of the price and s/h of those that aren't into AUD).

OP3 years agoYes you're right ... i just like using ebay.com sometimes as it seems to have much wider product/store scope than the .au site but its a pain getting all prices in $US. I thought there was a simple solution but not to be. Many thanks for your reply.

·3 years agoThere is a simple solution: you can choose to shop here on ebay.com where you have to pay more attention to things like the currency and payment methods and shipping options, or shop at ebay.com.au where there are "approximate" conversions to AUD and more items will be local for you.
One thing you can change about currency displays here: for search results you can eliminate the "approximate" (remember: ALWAYS too low by about 3 to 3.5%) conversion display and have it display the actual price in the actual currency by clicking the burger bar menu at top right, selecting "Customize" from the resulting dropdown menu (not shown in below photo), unchecking the option on displaying conversions and Apply Changes. Note this only applies to the particular site you are on when you do it--it doesn't carry from ebay.com to ebay.com.au or vice versa.
