deceptive sellers
So I don't buy often, however lately I've seen a trend where if a seller has numerous negative ratings, they will setup several similar accounts. Shipping from same location is the indicator. I have now stumbled on this four times in the past year. Why does EBAY permit this activity. By setting up similar accounts, they're try to negate negative ratings from prior (still active) accounts. Whatever sales they make on the new accounts, with little fewer sales and a smaller window of time, it all looks good. EBAY needs to shut these scammers down. ....all the same and I believe shipping from overseas. I'm done with EBAY.

·3 years agoYou can look at the sellers feedback page and click on ABOUT and find out where the item is located. Many Many jewelry sellers list country of origin as United States when they are actually in INDIA or CHINA. Ebay is well aware of these thieves and Ebay has their back and are participating in FRAUD. They don't care about the buyers who are getting ripped off with fake diamonds and fake gold. Ebay is NOT A SAFE PLACE TO BUY JEWELRY !!!!!! Trust me, I have made them well aware of these sellers and they have done nothing to stop it.
