customer service
I'm still waiting for ebay to update my tax exempt status, in the mean time I'm paying taxes on all of purchases. Terrible customer service.

·8 months agoCheck with your accountant but usually the taxes you paid can be taken as a deduction on your quarterly sales & use tax form, assuming you have a valid resale license and are filing your quarterlies.
Does your user name/registered name match the resale license name for the account you want tax exempt? I have exemption on numerous on line sites for my "regular" business and approval never has gone more than 24 hours

·8 months agoThe five days eBay states are a best-case scenario. Plus the five days are five business days, so it's only been nine days. Often processing can take longer.

How long ago did you apply? It can easily take three weeks for eBay to process the paperwork.

·9 months agoDid you actually contact Ebay using the chat box with them calling you back and speaking to an agent directly? How long have you waited since you filed the proper paperwork?
