Coupons and the App
Why does eBay keep offering me a $10 coupon if I buy something over $50 using their app?
How are they making money by me using the app as opposed to me not using it?
Is their profit on a $51 item that I buy more than ten dollars?
What is the advantage to me if I download and use the app, apart from the one-time only coupon?
Thanks all - I am looking at something that might qualify but I don't want to mess up the way I buy things now.

To get more access to your data to try and discern what they think you want. Do you travel alot? How far? Do you stay home alot or commute to work? On and on......................

·6 months agoThey want people to load that app. Those mobile device payment apps create a big hole in security and are a risk. It you continue reading you also see that coupon excludes a number of things you might want to purchase. Those offers often have conditions out the wazoo. If you do load a payment app, I suggest you remove it after use. Your phone can become a blank check if lost or stolen.
