Counterfeit Tiffany & Co Jump Rings
Because the jump ring was discontinued by
Tiffany & Co the cost on eBay shot up to
$85+. I noticed there were several fakes that
sold for the same price. So I decided to make
this post. I purchased the real jump ring
online from Tiffany & Co in 2024.
There are a lot of fakes out there, a lot. They
are getting better and better too. The easiest
way to tell...
There is no capital AG on the periodic table.
The symbol for silver is Ag not AG. If it has
capital AG on it, it is fake.
When in doubt, check with the US Patent and
Trademark Office. You can search their
trademarks online. All of Tiffany's logos are
there.

The best thing to do when you find a counterfeit Tiffany listing is to report it to Tiffany & Co. They're an active member of eBay's Verified Rights Owner (VeRO) program. If they report the listing to eBay it will be removed.
Beyond that, just posting in a lightly trafficked eBay forum is really not going to do much.
