consumer rights not being upheld 2015!! Trainers fell apart in 4 months - both soles totally gone!

I bought a pair of arch fit Fitville trainers off an eBay seller 29th March 2025. They have already fallen apart.
They are clearly NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE - I have not ONLY worn the trainers for 4 months. Seller says you worn them out, manufacturer refers back to seller and eBay customer services state nothing to do with us cause outside 3 month money back!! Up to seller.
NONE of that comes under the British consumer act 2015 re the trainers not being FIT FOR PURPOSE!!!
Anyway to make seller or eBay sort their mess out. I don't see how they can be allowed to ignore British selling laws!!

Here is a link to ebay's Money Back Guarantee from the U.K. site. It is pretty much the same as the U.S. site's guarantee.

As for the Consumer act 2015 I think it would be a stretch to apply it to the trainers after nearly 5 months of usage.

You'll likely find people there who are more familiar with what you're experiencing. Sorry, we get lots of visitors from the UK site that don't realize they're on the US forums!
Here in the US, eBay has a 30 day money back guarantee.
