Combined Shipping—item sold while in my cart and I’m still being asked to “pay now.”

I clicked “request combined shipping” and confirmed. When I went back to the shopping cart, it looks like all the items I had in my cart sold! I don’t think they sold to me, and I am still being prompted to “pay now” despite not getting a response from the seller. What should I do?

When hitting the "Request combined shipping" in the cart, eBay brings a pop-up that says: "You have not yet committed to buy the items. By requesting total, you will commit to a purchase." So in order to send the request to the Seller you have to promise to pay for the items even if the seller does not respond.
