Cell Phone purchase
In November I purchased a Apple IphoneXS Max on Ebay Seller was bossmandan94. I received the phone in December but had health issues the had me hospitalized when it arrived. Finally got around to try to set up the phone in mid-February only to find the screen is damaged and would not accept touch commands. I contacted ebay and they started a case Feb 16 and my complaint was forwarded to the seller with no response. Forwarded message about phone to seller again 2 weeks later. Still no response. Ebay closed the case March 18th as there was no action. Now I am left with a defective phone and a seller that will not respond to my inquiry. What is my next action?

·3 years agoYou can do a credit card dispute with your banking debit or credit card online. I prefer doing it online rather than calling or going in person to my bank...it's quicker and much more easy. You are allowed so many months to do this so you still have a little time.

·3 years agoIf you received it in December, the MBG expired in January, so Ebay won't do anything to help after that.
If you paid through Pay Pal, open a case with them or contact your credit card.

File a dispute through Paypal if you processed your payment through Paypal or contact your credit card company.
