cancelling an order
I recently purchased 4 sports cards from a seller that offered combined shipping which was a selling point for me to save on fees. I even confirmed this with the seller but now he is refusing to honor what he said and is outright refusing to communicate with me. I would like to just cancel the order and move on but it's ebay and there is never an easy way to do anything.

If you were required to put up a payment source in order to proceed to make offers or bid, there is a chance that the seller can no longer combine items, and likely is clueless as to why. YOU require the same from your buyers as well. Though eBay is presently "tweaking" the results of these buyer requirements, these basically have been the combined shipping killers, and the result for buyers that do comply being billed at full shipping price for each. OP2 years agoNo offers were made, these were legitimate high bids for items listed for sale. Prior to any bidding I inquired with the seller if he in fact offered combined shipping for buyers who won multiple items with a time frame and he replied that he did. I am familiar with selling on ebay and do know that sellers can absolutely tweak invoices to reflect combined shipping charges, however I am dealing with someone who is less that trustworthy (based upon their actions). Otherwise I would pay almost 2.5 times more to have the items shipped to me than I paid for them, very crazy.

·2 years agoSince you don't want to get a non paying buyer strike, pay and file an item not as described case if the seller won't honor the deal or cancel.
