Camera lenses
Hello, I am wanting to buy an expensive and of course delicate camera lens, we all know how some shippers are just from watching those old Samsonite commercials. I just told seller to add the extra insurance because I do not think I am capable of just adding it myself to the purchase. Is there a way to increase payment when buying or do I have to wait for seller to update somehow?

OP1 year agoThank you kathiec, The seller actually did not have insurance listed so I brought it up as I do not trust modern day shipping. Knowing I am protected though is what I wanted to make sure of because a high dollar camera lens at any price is bad if one of these shippers decides to play football. Your input was greatly needed and even more appreciated, I am very thankful to you for answering my question. I hope you have a great Friday going into a better weekend, you are truly an asset here at ebay.

Insurance is for the seller's protection, not yours. If the item arrives damaged all you have to do is open a Money Back Guarantee return to return it, at the seller's expense, and get a refund, no matter whether the seller took out any insurance at all on the package. So there's never a need to pay extra for additional insurance, nor should sellers be charging for it.
