Buying Knives on Ebay
Hi, Knife Buyers, A little Friendly tip when Buying Knives on Line... The Value of an American Made Knife & the Same exact knife Brand Made in China is about Half.... Meaning, If you buy a New Old Shock Schr-de USA made knife for $50... like New /never Used... Or a New Same knife still in the box China Knife, you should pay about 1/2 for the exact same knife! I see a lot of Sellers Passing off the USA Brand Name (with MADE IN CHINA knives) at the same High USA Knife Prices! Be careful~ If you're going to used the China knife & Ruin it, it doesn't really matter too much if you got a little ripped off... But when you try to sell it yrs. Later as a collectable, it's totally worthless~ (My Opinion)

They are about half the cost, because even though some Knife makers do have some styles of their knives made in China it says that on them, and they will never be collectible. Those knives are usually made for and sold by the Big Box stores.
Even though some U.S. brand knives are made in China, they are not allowed to be sold by chinese sellers. So if you find one from a seller based In China, it may be a low quality counterfeit/knockoff.
