Buying Coins on Ebay or any Online System
Beware of who you buy coins from. I recently purchased a coin not paying attention to that it came from China nor the price I paid vs the actual value of it. It turns out to be very valuable and with my semi-experience seems real. I still am skeptical and will take it to a reputable dealer before adding to my collection. Thankfully I did not pay much for it. It is not Ebays fault but ours.

OP1 year agoAlso to clarify I am talking about an 09S Indian head Cent. I had no idea of the rarity or value of them until now.

Whose fault is this?

Coming from China, I doubt it's real or very valuable.

·1 year agoKeep in kind you have a limited window to return. If it came from China it's almost certainly fake.

If it's too good to be true it probably is.
But some buyers like fakes...

OP1 year agoI did not buy it thinking it could be valuable. I was just trying to fill slots in my folder. I did not find this out or the worth of possible worth of the coin until after. At least I didn't lose nothing really.
