Buying an authenticity guarantee item from a new seller
Hi ebayers! I want to buy an authenticity guarantee item from a new seller, who has 0 feedback now. I am just wandering if there is any risk. I think the authenticity guarantee service would make sure that I get the right item in time. Is there anything that I may ignore?

·3 years agoYou will receive the card if it's authentic and not fake. If the authenticator thinks it doesn't match the description you will be refunded. All sales will be final once you receive it and you won't be able to return it for a refund.

·3 years agoYou don't have to buy the authenticity guarantee. It's a service the seller has chosen to include with the sale. Here's more information on the program:

On rare occasions the authenticators make errors, but in general this is a good way to ensure cards you purchase are authentic. The downside is that authenticated items aren't eligible for eBay's Money Back Guarantee, so the sale will be final.
But all these questions of risk should have been asked before you made the purchase, not after.

·3 years agoYou had one hour after you accepted the offer to request a cancellation. Now all you can do is ask the seller to cancel, but they are under no obligation to do so. If they don't and you don't pay you'll get an unpaid item strike. One won't hurt you, but if you get two you'll find yourself blocked by a great many sellers. So again, the time to ask questions is before you buy, not after.
