Buyer's protection not available when delivered to wrong address
Fedex left at wrong address. I opened a case with FedEx, they did not retrieve, and closed the case. Ebay would not step in with seller as FedEx had a conformation with wrong picture supporting delivery nor was the case useful. EBay would not contact seller to open a case on FedEx so their protection plan is useless. EBay told me I should go hunt for the item. Grant it, I had to pay for shipping but since I was not the payee directly to FedEx there is nothing I can do as the seller has to but EBay will not step in and make the seller get with FedEx.

Please read the selected "Best Answer" in the following thread to view the choices you have. Yes, if there is a record of "delivery" associated with your order the Money Back Guarantee will be a fail. This is something that is reported here almost daily if not more:

·1 year agoDid the seller use a eBay generated FedEx label? If not, there may be a chance you are a victim of a “false tracking†scam.
