Buyers paying for all returns
I have tried to do 3 returns in the last year- not many. And each time its because the item was not as described or is misleading. The seller is at fault here. But when you start the return, the charge for the shipping for return always comes back on me. And I notice that the seller seems to remove himself from any service or responsibility now. The return is always offered- because they are never paying it!
I was a seller for a long time. And they only protected the buyer. No longer!
Ive tried to get Ebays help a dozen times- no luck. Per the instructions theres an option, never comes up.
Is there ANY SERVICE here anymore. Recommendation please?

·2 years agoA buyer never pays return shipping on not as described returns. If the seller sent a blue shirt when you ordered a red shirt; I would select item not as described. I would not select wrong item received unless I was sent a pair of pants when I ordered a shirt... technically both of those choices are correct in the case of pants instead of shirt, but wrong item seems more fitting in that case to me. In your case not as described seems more fitting to me, but neither are inaccurate.

·2 years agoWhen the item is not as described, all you need to do is open an item not as described case.
The seller will be required to front you the return shipping, either by sending a prepaid return label or refunding the return shipping cost in advance. You don't need to "get eBay's help", it's already offered to you via the MBG.

OP2 years agoAnd what option should you chose to get them to pay for the return? I would certainly appreciate that answer.

OP2 years agoI have chosen that. So heres a question regarding that... when I order a top that says its red. And they send that one- but in blue, how is it my responsibility to pay for the shipping?

·2 years agoWhat reason are you choosing when you open the return request @angiesobsession ? If you choose "not as described" as you said then the buyer is not required to pay return shipping.

·2 years agoWhat reason did you choose for the returns? Not as described or arrived damaged will not have any return charges. Some of the other reasons do.
