Did you even get a notice of suspension in the first place? If you ran into a purchase declination by a seller, you might be forming an erroneous conclusion that eBay did it. It might have been a seller who blocked you. The reason I ask is that you seemingly don't know why you're suspended . . . if eBay did it, you should have received a notice explaining why.

·9 months agoJust what is suspended? You can't be suspended as you were allowed to post here. Just what error message do you receive when you try to bid or buy?

The notice of suspension should have told you why you were suspended. Often it's because eBay tracks use by IP address, so if someone using the same network as you was suspended you'll be deemed an associated account and also suspended. And no, you can't get around it by opening another account. EBay expressly forbids opening an account to bypass a restriction on another account.
The best way to find out the exact reason and appeal the suspension is to contact customer support by sending a private message on social media:

Yes... I fear that your IP address caused this. To qualify... I don't even use mine at the granddaughter's college dorm or while in a condo rental on vacation, out of fear that another user had angered the eBay gods.
I'm afraid that you'll not be un-restricted. Once you're pickled, you can never be a cucumber again. Dang...

·9 months agoCheck the suspension email from eBay. It explains the reason and what steps you need to take. Only eBay can reinstate the account, and you’ll need to follow their instructions.
