Buyer Beware Overcharging is Happening as we speak

Buyers there is a confirmed glitch in the platform that is over charging on purchases made. Ebay has been made aware of this issue by myself today as I discovered it overcharge. This is not on the sellers this is totally on ebay side and ebay has not solution for the customer as of now. Customers only option is to hope that the seller is willing to refund the over charges. This is not an issue caused by the sellers as I was assured that the sellers still cannot change prices on items after the purchase has been paid for. This is an ebay issue and ebay is not offering any refunds or assistance with the unauthorized over charges. Stay tuned more information will be reported as I get it. Well, yes, if you give it some thought. We are trying to get some kind of statement from the OP that will prove his claim or at least tell us how/where he got this idea.

And you've been here long enough to know that this is not the most outlandish idea we've ever heard about on these boards.

Oh, I agree with all that. Just find it funny that the site allows some of these type 'statements' in the first place.

Well, to the best of my knowledge, and you probably know this, no one employed by eBay checks out anything that's posted here, although they do, I've heard, remove posts that are offensive if/when reported by others on occasion. For instance, I could right now post that I've heard that eBay no longer allows the selling of blue tablecloths and it would probably remain for awhile.

@soh.maryl LOL; I know what you're saying.

I just wish when it was something this hurtful (the internet could grab just this 'title' and then it hurts all sellers)- was just not allowed without proof.

As other responders have said, you are not making any sense. You have not provide a single piece of information to back up your claim, or for us to investigate.

The two other eBay users you tagged have not logged into the boards for well over a decade, and are no longer registered on eBay.

If you want to calm down and then provide a clear, succinct explanation of what happened to you, that you are complaining about, we can help you with that. Otherwise, not.

Please tell us HOW you discovered you were 'overcharged' on eBay purchase. We need this information in order to figure out what may have happened to your account.

I've not heard of anyone else reporting this before ... and I, personally, have never experienced an overcharge in the 21+ years I've been buying on eBay ... so your post is definitely startling. We will do our best to help.

Care to return and offer better details? As a buyer, you do know that you will pay the item price, the shipping fee and the state sales tax, if applicable when you make a purchase, right?
