Buy it now with Pay Pal does not allow you to choose Pay Pal payment account ?
Hey guys,
I dont know if I am missing a step somehow or not. I have several ship to addresses and a couple of bank accounts and credit cards linked to my Pay Pal account. Normally when you use Pay Pal to pay for something the selling page will send you to Pay Pal where you can verify which payment method and ship to address you want to use.
However, when you do a "buy it now" purchase or make an offer and want to use Pay Pal it does not allow you to choose the shipping address or which bank account you want to use. It automatically uses the "preferred" account and shipping address on Pay Pal ? Has anybody found a work around for this. The only way I can think of is to go to Pay Pal first and change my preferred bank account and shipping address first and then make the purchase.

·1 year agoIf you mean that when you check out of eBay and select PayPal, you are not able to choose a specific payment method in your PayPal wallet but one is automatically selected for you, in that case go to your eBay Payments page in your eBay account and delete the entry for PayPal that appears there.

The next time you check out on eBay and choose PayPal, you should be sent to your PayPal wallet page and given a chance to pick a specific payment method.
Offers and bids may be treated differently, depending on whether the seller requires a payment method in advance and whether you have specified a payment method and shipping address previously for bids and offers. If you go to that link above and delete the payment method that is specified as "used for offers and auctions" if there is one, the next time you make a bid or place an offer with a seller that requires a payment method in advance, you will be prompted to provide one. which will become your new default for such bids or offers.
