Broken car radio after 2 months
I purchased a car radio from China through ebay, unfortunately after 2mo th the volume on all channels stopped working. I contacted the seller who eventually told me
1. They would send replacement parts but I would have to pay postage
2. I could take it and have it repaired locally at my expense
3. The would offer me a discount and I could order a new one. This is ridiculous. So I've lost 120 plus cost of getting it fitted by an auto electrician. I'm a 79 year old pensioner.

·8 months agoAre you sure the audio out cable just doesn't need to be checked? You said the radio was installed, maybe just a loose audio connection

·8 months agoThere is no warranty on most items sold on eBay. For some you can purchase one. They are not that good however. If you paid by credit card, contact your card company.

·8 months agoUnfortunately most of the electronic junk made in China but to keep and use factory warranty , assuming it exists, best way to buy from reputable suppliers/ retailers..

Buying a cheap radio from a seller in China, you're lucky it lasted 2 months.
Contact your payment source and see if there's anything they can do.

·8 months agoSounds like you got what you paid for.
In the future, I'd recommend buying a used car radio from a reputable brand, instead of a disposable one from a Temu seller.

·8 months agoSorry, but at 79- hopefully some lessons learned.
1.) ebay gives you 30 days. Nothing after.
2.) Don't buy things like this from China.
