Brand Preference Selection Not Persisting After Save on iOS App
- on mobile app (iPhone) navigate to preferences > Brands
- search for brand “Versace” and select
- click save
- click Brands again
- search for “Valentino” & select
- click save
- brand is not saved to my account/profile. It’s not stored on FE or Backend (tried refreshing and close/reopen app but brand wasn’t saved)
Expected:
Newly selected brands should persist across sessions and append/merge into user’s saved brand preferences after each successful save action
Also, this feature is half baked - Related issue: Brand preference search uses a limited/filtered selectable brand list instead of eBay’s full marketplace brand list.
Many valid brands with active marketplace inventory are not available in the selectable brand list.
Examples: John Galliano, Nina Ricci, Emanuel Ungaro, Bill Blass, Alberta Ferretti
Expected:
Brands available in eBay marketplace search/inventory should also exist in the selectable brand list within Preferences > Brands.
