bought megaman legends 2 and the item is stuck with "usps awaiting item"
seller said he shipped it 4-5 days ago and shipping is stuck with "usps awaiting item"
seller said sometimes barcode doesnt get scanned correctly but how is this so? usually
all this is pretty accurate ? please help , i really need this item

·2 years agoJust a heads up - if the seller did not ensure a scan occurred for acceptance by a carrier, it is 100% on the seller. No matter the number of items being shipped, w/o proof of acceptance, you have no proof of possession for claims etc.
That said, as others have stated - carrier behavior is outside the sellers control. May I ask what service this was shipped by if known?

·2 years agoFirst, I thought that awaiting scan meant the label was printed, but might not have been taken to or scanned at a post office. Yet. Contrary to another reply on this thread, it happens alot. Sometimes it is only scanned on the day of delivery. So ignore this and wait until the delivery date.

·2 years agoThere was an estimated delivery date seen in the listing when you made your purchase.
If/when the item does not arrive by that date, you can open an item not received case the day after.
Until that time, there is not much you can do. And there have been a lot of reports of no scanning of packages.

·2 years agoThe USPS estimated delivery dates don't match up with the transit time and to buyers location. also you now how to figure in delay's of 2 to 3 days for the truck to show up at hub . there the unexplained issues of priority taking longer as well depending on the location shipped from.

·2 years agoThe no USPS scan's has been happening a lot . Then there is the issues of no trucks showing up for 3 days to pick up the shipping containers . all USPS bouncing ground advantage parcels all over.

Sit tight and not buy another until you see what happens with this Order. As Jack mentions, your next recourse is through an Item Not Received claim, if the item isn't to you (at least) one day past the Estimated Delivery Date on your Order.
Personally, I never have scan problems, but I use my regular carrier. I have read, however, that some do, FWIW. Good luck.

Not that common, but does happen
Perhaps not so much ............ doesnt get scanned correctly ................. but more like doesn't get scanned.
If it does not update/does not arrive by the estimated date, the next day you can open an "item not received" by going to your purchase history and locating the item.
