bought giftcard at Walgreens
i bought a giftcard at walgreens for 200. i tried to activate for my son and the scratch off took 2 numbers off
and i cant redeem because misssing. just trying to activate if i could give you the receipt and card

·2 years agoThere is a scam where a thief removes the scratch off strip and writes down the numbers. They then replace the strip. You can by them on the internet. They then wait for the card to se sold and activated. They have the numbers and can spend the card. They often remove some of the numbers so the buyer of the card can't use it before that do.
Are you sure you removed them? Go back to where you purchased it right away.

·2 years agoeBay gift cards are sold through a 3rd party for eBay. You are not contacting eBay or the supplier of the cards here on the community forum so other then offer suggestions, we would not be able to help you.

You might try taking it back to the store it was bought at and see if you can exchange it or if there is a phone number on the back call it.
