Bought a Nintendo switch game as a pre order. Seller never sent and won't answer e-mails
I paid for Nintendo hogwarts legacy deluxe edition game in July. The game was supposed to be shipped
by nov 14th. On October 20th the seller e-mailed me and said he was going to send me a gift for being so patient. The gift was two 5 cent boxes of nerd candies. I e-mailed him and said I got the candies but where's my game. He said he will ship by Nov.14th. So now because I received the gift according to him the item was shown as shipped. He won't respond to e-mails and because of the length of time I can't apply for a refund with eBay. Guess I got scammed.

Do NOT file an "item not received" case -- instead, file a "not as described" case.
Alternatively, you can do a chargeback on your credit card.
But don't wait -- do it NOW!

·2 years agoMy guess is that the candy came with the tracking number that would have gone with the Nintendo item and the seller is hoping you'll file for non-receipt. He'll respond with the tracking number (for the candy) and you'll lose the case.
File for NAD (not as described) and when you get the shipping label, return the candy. If he doesn't accept the return and send a label, ask ebay to step in.

·2 years agoI would not eat the candy ... there is one pretty large seller I know who sends a couple hard candies in every package ... while I trust the seller in general and I like to have faith in humanity ... I find it a bit creepy/questionable receiving the candy and never eat it. 😜

Or file a Not As Described case with eBay.
You would need to do this NOW before the 30 days is over on the candy he sent.
