Bootleg DVDs on eBay
I have been in the process of collecting some unique or old media, so I've been doing a ton of research about how to tell whether copies of things are authentic. While searching eBay for authentic copies of several hard-to-find or generally pricey DVDs, I keep coming across a lot of bootleg items, often listed at ridiculously low prices. In some cases, DVDs are being sold that were never actually officially released, so I know they're fakes. Can anything be done about this? There are so many that I'm doubtful, but I'm putting this out in case there is actually something I could do.

·3 years agoI purchase DVDs on eBay watch them and then sell them on eBay for a profit if lucky. Lately my listing have been shut down as bootlegs. How am I supposed to know if it is a bootleg when I make the purchase? It is happening all the time to me. It seems like all new DVDs on eBay are bootlegs. Now I'm stuck with a lot of DVDs I can't sell.
